The acronym for Leadership, Identity, and Development was founded by first-generation Taiwanese parents to celebrate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Taiwan for second-generation Taiwanese Americans. Over the years, this mission has expanded to include third, fourth, and future generations.
At LID Camp, we are dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging within the Taiwanese American community and inspiring curiosity about Taiwan’s culture through engaging programming. Beyond nurturing a strong Taiwanese cultural identity, we strive to cultivate leadership skills, enhance social aptitude, and empower participants to become confident role models.
Through a supportive and inclusive environment, LID Camp encourages resilience, effective communication, and teamwork through thoughtfully designed workshops and activities led by our passionate counselors and staff.
